About Us
AdmiralMahe is a guest house created in 2018 by Sylviane, the owner of the premises, and by her family. It is so called in honor of Bertrand François Mahé, earl of La Bourdonnais (1699-1753), Admiral of France, Governor General of the Mascareignes, who also gave his name to the town of Mahebourg.
The welcome of visitors is traditional in the islands, especially in Mauritius, and our will is to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Also do not hesitate, before and during your stay, to ask us to inform you or to solve any difficulty which could occur.
AdmiralMahe does not offer expensive 5-star accommodation; very beautiful hotels exist for that, but simply a pleasant place close to all amenities to stay and discover, or rediscover, the island.
The guest house is located in the center of Mahebourg, about 15 minutes from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport through which you will arrive.
A shuttle is available for the back and forth journey between the airport and the guest house for you and your luggage.
The closest and most beautiful beach is Blue Bay, 10 minutes away. During the day, every 30 minutes, a bus makes the round trip from the bus station to the beach. From this point, you can also visit the other tourist sites on the island.
